The Ohana Spice Trading Company is the culmination of growing up in a restaurant kitchen, enjoying relaxed family style dining and an appreciation for tasteful and healthy meals. 

Dan and Cara Price founded their company based on spice blends created by Cara’s father, Ed Coppola.  Inspired by time spent in his mother’s Irish/Italian kitchen, he created and popularized the original recipes during 30 years as chef/owner of The Salty Pelican Restaurant in Baywood Park, California.

As a third generation with ties to the Hawaiian Islands, the Hawaiian word for family, Ohana, is the ideal name to represent the family’s complete line of original, flavorful and organic spice blends.
